Yes, but look at what they've done with Lin Beifong. She's become a one-note police-chief hardass, rather than the tower of middle-aged awesome she was in the first season.
Yeah. I've been complaining about the same thing.
I think part of the problem is they're trying to juggle too many characters and plots this season.
Also, I'm assuming they didn't get Renee Auberjonois for the owl spirit in the library: it didn't sound the same. It was nice to see him and Iroh, though.
IMDB is saying it was Hector Elizondo both in this episode and in "The Library". It sounded the same to me.
Rene voiced The Mechanist in Avatar: TLA
I was good with this episode right up to the point where they had Korra make the decision that was necessary to advance the plot, rather than the obviously correct one.
I don't know. I'm not sure I could let a little girl die (and not just die, but be utterly destroyed) to save the world. I can't really blame Korra for that.
And considering the dragon-bird brought her there, I don't really have a huge issue with it coming to her rescue, though I agree it was a little too convenient.

I agree with both of you.

Yep. As opposed to Iroh, who sounded WAY different, even moreso than in the last season of A:TLA.

Two different actors portraying him.
Was it not Greg Baldwin this time?
Hector Elizondo, right. I knew that! Maybe.
Iroh was cleary not even the guy they got to play him after Mako died. (Sigh.)
I'm still cranky about Lin Beifong, though. What the heck happened?

Yeah, Greg Baldwin was pretty good, but this guy was...not. Still, it was nice to see Iroh again.
The Bee and Puppycat Kickstarter has 5 hours to go and is almost at $840,000 for 9 episodes (the original goal was $600,000 for 6 episodes).
Those are some SERIOUS fans.
It has so much potential!
Along with the two episodes of Korra that are scheduled to air tonight, the final two episodes are supposed to go live on nick.com this evening.
