Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, that sounds fun

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm into it! I loved the first run of Futurama.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What age would be a good age to start a kid on Gravity Falls and/or Invader Zim?

Gravity Falls - started Matilda pretty young on that. I think she was 6 when it started and she watched from the beginning.

Invader Zim - that's older. There's some scary stuff and lots of disturbing imagery. I think I started Emmett on that when he was 9-10 but Matilda is 11 and we haven't gotten into it yet.

So i spent the last few weeks bingeing through Steven Universe again, and I gotta say, this show totally holds up. Such excellent long-term character and plot work. Plus marvelous music and great voice acting, all wrapped in a story about personal and emotional independence and support.

And now I'm caught up, woe.
