So Princess Bubblegum/Marceline is now pretty much canon. I was all aboard the Korrasami train, but I'm less enthused about this. It maybe feels less earned, more pandering to the fans?
It's been there going back to PB wearing Marceline's t-shirt in "What Was Missing" and that was followed up with the witch clearly indicating that the emotional power contained in that t-shirt was basically super powered. That it had absorbed the essence of PB's feelings for Marceline.
Not to mention Marceline's song in "What Was Missing" ('I'm Just Your Problem") which is totally an ex-lover's song.

Thanks. I just checked and my Tivo is recording them, but out of order for some reason (these first two not until the weekend).
My DVR had the same problem. I had to explicitly tell it to record the first two, probably because they weren't flagged as "new" in the TV listings.

I didn't see anything any more explicit than all the subtext that's been there for ages now, as David pointed out. You could still read it as a history of BFFs if you wanted buuuuuut there's lots of blushing and touching so.
