Bolin isn’t stupid—he’s just very naïve about people.

Animation 1: I'm Not Bad, I'm Just Drawn That Way
A thread to discuss television and online animation.
True, although I submit that sufficiently advanced naivete is indistinguishable from stupidity.
Wha? did Kuvira go into the Avatar state? or did I just dream that?
I just went back and watched it again. not quite what I thought.
I did the same thing.
I'm glad that Korra at least tried to settle things without violence, but I don't think she tried very hard.
Not that it would have worked, but yeah.
I am still wondering whether Zhu Li is playing a long con. She has every reason to say, "Fuck you," to Varrick, but I don't see why she would go completely to Kuvira's side.
I have a feeling that Zhu Li has a pivotal role to play one way or another.
Has this been posted? Venture Bros. season 6 teaser.
I need to catch up!
I have totally lost track of what's going on on that show, but that teaser is intriguing.
Gotta say, Simpsorama made me very happy.
Even though I feel bad for the character, I LOVE that Korra's issues were not solved by simply removing the poison from her body. Just because she's physically better, it doesn't mean she's mentally better.
Yeah. As much as I want to have Korra back to normal, I appreciate that they didn't have removing the poison magically make everything better.

I'm in the same boat. I was hoping for a reaction shot after she turned away from Kuvira in the final scene, but no such luck.
I did love earlier when Varrick had so much trouble with the vine container after Zhu Li was carrying it no problem. Made it clear how little physical work he actually did himself.
Didn't Zhu Li literally carry Varrick on her back at some point?
