Has the show gotten any better? While I love that they're doing this, the last time I tried to watch the show it was pretty bad.
'Heart Of Gold'
Animation 1: I'm Not Bad, I'm Just Drawn That Way
A thread to discuss television and online animation.
I haven't seen it, due to lack of cable and lack of motivation to buy it from iTunes (or wherever it lives). Still love the casting of Donald Glover.
I just mainlined all 26 episodes of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig.
I love grownup anime!

That's good stuff.
Wait, there's a sequel series? I haven't even watched...any of Ghost in the Shell ever!
There's 2 called Stand Alone Complex. They're about 26 episodes each. They sre talky and thinky and you have to pay attention because nothing is really a throwaway. Very cool animation and future concepts.
animetoon.tv is where I watch.
And they have Season 5 Archer, and the original The Tick!
Season 5 Archer
Okay, I have 2 Archer-related general questions:
(1) Many non-Buffista people have complained on FB that S5 sucked. I thought it was a weird departure, but I still liked it. What's the general consensus on S5 around these parts?
(2) And what's your favorite season?

Not my favorite, but still had a lot of great moments.

S2 in a walk! Archer's cancer storyline was unbelievable! So dark and so funny and so on point.
Plus it had Double Deuce (backstory on Woodhouse) which has some of my favorite bits and line readings ever. Emmett and I still emulate Archer's "That's a lot of scalps."
I kind of lean towards S3, because "Bloody Ferlin" is hands down my favorite episode.
I like season 5. I approached every episode with some trepidation, think this might be the one that loses the thread, but that didn't really happen. Archer generally has that sense of teetering on the edge of disaster, though.
Not gonna pick a favorite, you can't make me.
