Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Okay, we've watched the first 2 episodes of Archer, and I'm just going to have to pretend that before Bob Belcher opened a burger restaurant and settled down and had kids, he was a secret agent.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There is an episode of Archer which specifically alludes to something like this.

For what it's worth, while I think all of Archer is pretty great, they sort of found their footing in S1 with the Zeppelin episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So, Archer. We're up to the zeppelin episode. Is it wrong that I love Cheryl? (Or whatever the hell her name is.)

No! Because she's played with terrifically barmy verve by Judy Greer!

Especially when she's getting turned on by being choked and whatnot.

The voice cast is so good that Emmett and I have a running list of our favorite line readings.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Based on the brief discussion here, I've started catching up with Rick & Morty and I'm glad I did. It's like a messed up version of Doctor Who in some ways. I'm reminded of that Venture Brothers episode with the Fantastic Four parody. That is, [VB FF]:[Marvel FF] :: [R&M]:[DW].

I just caught the love potion episode and MAAAAAN that was twisted. It also wins the award for Least Likely Appearance of a Mazzy Star Song.
