All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jesse, your horoscope has earwormed me with West Side Story.

Because books.

Reality check horoscopes just aren't as much fun.

I went crazy and did my eyebrows, too. The trick now is not to forget to rinse it off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, your horoscope has earwormed me with West Side Story.

Always a good choice! The last time we were at the hospital with my father, for some reason we were singing that.

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Kate P's birthday.

Happy birthday, Kate! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Happy Birthday, KateP!

Onerous Task Day: just being here at work counts for me today, I do believe.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I did jack it up enough that it's still complaining today...I am dork.

My leg went numb again, and this time the Ambien had kicked in which made my reflexes worse. I stood up, angled towards the left of the chair I had been sitting on, and turned quickly to the right, and the right foot didn't actually move. At which point I screamed, dropped what I was carrying, and pitched forward, hands out to brace my fall against the nearby chair.

I am assuming I tore some of the scar tissue from before, as opposed to making a whole new injury, and it's not something that requires medical attention, just a (hopefully short-lived) regression--I had been hoping to relegate the cane to emergencies only starting tomorrow, but I can't bear my full weight on it without pain right now, so...maybe Monday?

No portrait photographers? I am loving the 1.8 50mm lens I got last week or so, and am toying with getting a fixed focal length wide angle for the trip home...these are so much more expensive...but I want to save up for a portrait-specific lens for my birthday present or something, and am interested in your experiences.

I set myself a fanart challenge last week, because I felt stalled, and I felt like my tools outstripped my technique. So I'm drawing and posting a kiss a day, and it's...it's remarkably how few angles I can find in source pictures that I can actually draw. Oh, look, it's the 1/4 Cas/3/4 Dean shot again! Or should I make that 1/4 Cas?

But the most interesting part of it is that I can see how people tag these, and I know enough of some rebloggers' likes and dislikes to know how they're probably categorising some of the pics. And it seems that if character A is leaning in/holding B, A is a Dom/top. I am trying to be careful to switch up "who plays the girl" when my reference pictures is het, but fact is, one character is shorter than the other, which makes it often easier to swap them into the girl position. But that's also how a noticeable chunk of fandom dreams of him--girly, submissive, with hips, wearing women's clothes (I'm not conflating those things, I'm reporting conflation). I feel guilty playing into that, but I keep reminding myself--I draw everything I draw. They can (and will, of course) pick and choose what appeals to them.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

ita, I hope the ankle re-heals quickly. (I got nothing on the portraiture.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ack!

I'm closing in on the sorting task. I need to swap some boxes around so all the boxes used for document storage are the same size and clean out some shelves so they can go neatly in order. The contents of the boxes aren't sorted, but I figure that if I need to find gas bills from 2009, I can sort them out pretty quickly.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

There is a woman on this episode of Family Feud whose name is Malaise.

So pretty!
