ita! No more pain, woman! Ouch.
Today is a Rule of 5 day for me:
1 load of laundry
Dust office
Sweep office
Clean surfaces in bathroom
Clean tub (slowly and gently; I'll count that as stretching for my back.)
Tomorrow will be onerous task day for me.
What 5 things/5 minute long tasks can others do today?
Anyone want to join me in Onerous Task Friday?
Work is going to be one big 11- or 12-hour onerous task for me Friday, so gonna pass.
While today was a busy and productive day, I got almost none of the drawing I'd intended to do finished because 4 different people were bombarding me with surprise tasks every few minutes.
I think that counts as onerous, Matt! I hope you survive, and treat yourself to something nice this weekend.
I'm so proud of myself, I've been sorting and discarding 5+ years of bills and correspondence. When I'm finished, it will all be sorted into boxes labelled 2005, 2006, etcetera. Next step today is to Pay All The Bills.
I could use to do Onerous Task Friday with you, Strix. My habitat needs unfucking something fierce.
My Onerous Task Thursday includes giving the Provost a budget projection for FY15 (which normally wouldn't be needed until March, but he is all over the law school finances right now), and writing a cover letter. Of these two tasks, the cover letter is proving more difficult and more I don't wanna.
Yes! We need to revive Onerous Task days. Though some of mine are done now thanks to the cleaning fairies.
Cover letters are the worst.
What 5 things/5 minute long tasks can others do today?
I've got 5 things! Wash dishes, clean out my t-shirt drawer, walk the dog, dust, sort through papers on the table from hell.
Cat just sat on right arm. Cannot communicate onerous ytasks. they are legion.
I had my call with the fancy nonprofit, and she wants me to come in! So that's nice. It sounds like the salary would be about what I make now, which is fine, especially because that job would position me better for the next one.... Fingers crossed.
