Shit. It looks like it'll take me 3.7 days to synchronize my Bitcoin wallet with my laptop running continuously.
If you synchronize your Bitcoin wallet, does that obligate you to sell once it's synced? IOW, it seems like syncing is a good idea anyway, so that at some point you could sell. Because even if the exchange rate drops in the short-term, if it goes back up and you haven't synced yet, you'll be back in this situation.
Might as well do it now.
Teppy: Yes. eta: Although I am not obligated to sell after syncing, your other points are valid.
Even if the price drops a lot, I'll still probably sell them, as the exchange rate is so volatile. Some investments are like gambling, and I don't feel like gambling with that much money.
Speaking of coins, I discovered a big can of 'wheat' pennies from my Mom that I thought were ordinary coins I could turn in at a Coinstar machine. Now I have to find somewhere near here where I can take them, because they're worth 3-4 cents each.
If you find any 1909 S VDB ones, can I have them?
eta: They're worth around $1000.
Theo, the website is crazy, but the Yelp reviews are good! And it's local: [link]
WTF -- PBS is going to run Downton and Sherlock together in January. [link]
You mean like split-screen?
Ha! If only. No, just on the same night.
Speaking of Pacific Rim (We were, right?), that guy who does Honest Movie Trailers finally did Pacific Rim:

It's pretty awesome. And not wrong.
I have my doubts about them -- early on, I offered to work on their website for barter and they were downright insulting. I'm also not sure that they're a =legal= pawnshop.
