Mixed news from Mom on the cancer--it's a little bit everywhere in her abdomen and a spot on her lungs. But it may still be the type that attacks the organ membranes. So the options are possibly chemo before surgery to try to remove some. Or topical chemo to attack the specific sites rather than iv chemo. Could be a lot worse, I must say.
surgery~ma for Grace.
ita, I hope there are answers for you.
I hope something works, Cashmere.
OK, this is the kind of thing I love about Boston: [link]
Good luck on the jobs, everyone! My company is hiring out the wazz right now, btw, if anyone is interested. We have hired remotely in the past so you never know!
I didn't have the spoons last night to make lasagne, but I started reviewing Yuletide source last night and now have three pages of notes, so I guess I'm okay with that trade-off.
I am trying not to glare at coworkers who are coughing disease vectors, but it's difficult to restrain my ire this morning.

Heh - without the context behind "spoons" this is a very odd sentence.
Speaking of spoons, has anyone heard of spoon butter for conditioning wooden utensils and cutting boards?
Check out this photo array of a magician announcing his child's birth. Made my day.

It's also possible to solve the first part of the puzzle without calculus, which is what I did.

Vaguely. I make my own wood conditioner, though, so I've never looked into buying it.
I pleaded my case successfully! The pain doc assures me neuro is going to do
something
but accepts that something can't start before my appointment with him (I explained the lack of contact), and gave me the same shoulder meds as I was on before.
Is it comforting to know my neuro has a plan and hasn't even done as much as saying "I have a plan, but we need to talk in person before I can prescribe you anything."? Exactly as not at all as you would think.
But, ten days of meds and they're going to schedule me for the first longer-term procedure after my stupid insurance authorises it.
