The UPS store next door to my building had their sidewalks cleaned last night. The compressor and spray noise ended at 4:30am. At 7am (ish) the crew tearing down the building on the opposite corner started in with the heavy machinery and crashing noises. I can't possibly be expected to accomplish anything today, can I? In fact, I'd really like to go home now.

Plumber came and went! Leaks have been stoppified, plus I watched Very Carefully what he did with the sink, because sooner or later with the pipes trying to freeze up in winter's extreme cold spells, they're likely to recur.
I feel rather accomplished today, what with the cleaning prep for all this....

I hate that ad, and :"meow" is one of the "haven't you fast forwarded yet?" reminders. "Stop calling me!" followed by something else negative are what make me do the first big twitch.
