There have been actual cases of siblings-separated-at-birth getting together unknowingly, even getting married and having kids before finding out, but as the emotional process of siblinghood never took place, it's not a relationship that comes out of dysfunction. And if the siblings come from a favorable genetic background (ie no bad recessive genes) it won't hurt one generation's worth of offspring.

Oh, ita, I'm so sorry. St. John's is probably closer than Cedars. We've always had good experiences at Cedars PICU but the transport there is a bear.
