I have a 1 inch swath of white hair like a hairband right in front.
Sister K and I have that swath down the back, slightly left.
Getting ready to teach my last class here in Krakow, and the next professor is already here to start with them tomorrow. They are going to miss me when I'm gone, because she's a steamroller.

Peg + Cat just premiered on PBS. It's very good!
The folks from The Fred Rogers Company (aka Mr. Rogers) and PBS Kids have another fun entry to the kids’ canon. Peg + Cat seems aimed toward helping girls accept math, but it’s basically awesome for any gender or age.

Well, so much for being a home for a while. I have to schedule work trips to NYC again and put in some time on the west coast, but all I want to do right now is turtle.
I do a sweeter version with onions apples and squash plus cinnmon and ginger - the liquid can be apple juice and water for the vegan version . I prefer a little cream .
I do a straight version which is butternut onions salt pepper thyme and cream (or milk )
and a curry version curry powder , some sort of hot pepper, ginger squash and onions. and that one can also go with a little apple juice and water to cook in , and normally cream , but I think coconut milk would be fantastic.
