According to the city ordinance, a lot seems to hinge of what constitutes "severe injury." If it's a severe injury, the neighbors can call the cops and have the dog impounded, and a hearing has to be held.

Pretty scary, flea.
Ouch, flea. What a hard situation for all of them.
You guys, I don't want to make a respectable dinner. I just want to eat popcorn again.
That's because you cooked all day, silly.

Didn't you say she had twelve stitches? That sounds pretty severe to me.
They don't stitch puncture wounds. They went to urgent care where the bite was cleaned and bandaged, and they put her on antibiotics. I mean, it's a simple bite - she is basically fine, is going to school tomorrow, etc. Is that severe?
It's the sheer unpredictability of it that bothers me. This dog is out in a well-fenced backyard sometimes and is barky, but it never occurred to us that it would bite someone unprovoked like this.

It's true. But there is so much kale in the fridge.
Is that severe?
Do they owner's have current vaccination records?

Biting unprovoked would really make me uneasy.
Yeah, if the dog has the ability to get out, it can't be running around loose in the yard.
Oh, my god, this game is killing me.
