Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What's a ball-park figure on having a plumber replace a faucet in a bathroom sink?

My guess would be, about $150. The visit would be $75, parts and labor the rest.

the name of the person arrested was Sparkles Lashayla Lindsey or Sparkles Lindsey or Lindsey Sparkles Lashayla.

Dare I ask her occupation?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Thanks, Zenkitty.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Helping a friend who is a freelance professional makeup artist AND used to work for Dior Cosmetics meant I was sent home with a grocery bag full of high-end skin care and makeup. Hello YSL black lipgloss that is no longer available, yes, I will give you a good home.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I have gone to the grocery store braless, no makeup, wearing a ball cap over unwashed hair. Do I win?

I once shopped for groceries late at night in a bathrobe and sneakers.

Reefer Madness was great tonight, hilarious and lots of good songs. And because of the late hour I finally got around to trying out Alchemy, where I had a red-headed stepchild cocktail (pretty tasty), cornmeal dusted oysters and roasted brussel sprouts (delicious!) and asparagus with bacon (good, but nothing special).

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks, Windsparrow.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm hoping they get some ativan or something, because we could all use it!

Sighh... Ativan. My uninsured ass just used my very last one tonight. And the holidays are fast approaching. Pray for me.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Another reason to put tofu in a blender (or food processor for those of us who don't have blenders): [link]

It's basically the richest most amazing pudding/mousse/pie filling ever. Except for the avocado based one that is rather hit or miss based on the avocados used.
