Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Drugs and redirect to Dunkin sound like an excellent future plan. Fewer tests and delicious treats.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, I'd love to, but I'm a bit fried after traveling: I spent most of the day on the couch. Apparently touristing and vacating makes me want to hole up for a day or two.

I totally understand -- I know when we get home (Monday *morning*, since we're talking the red-eye tomorrow), I'm going to want to just sleep for a week.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So I've promised myself I'll eat 5 servings of plant matter a day. Do the tomato slices and lettuce leaves on this turkey sammich count as a serving of vegetables? How much is a serving, anyway? How many servings is this half-pound apple?

(This half-pound organic Honeycrisp apple is delicious, and it was expensive, too. $2.15! For an APPLE.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Today has been a total loss to what seems to be a bout of food poisoning. I'm tired of doing nothing but I'm not sure my pounding heads is up for tv or reading. I hope plain pita chips are an ok substitute for crackers in this situation because I don't have anything else.

Where does one report food borne illness? Or does that only happen if you're hospitalized?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Vanilla flavored whiskey??

Burn it with fire. Ummm. You know what I mean. I talked whiskey with a few people last night and I'm glad I didn't know about this abomination.

Msbelle, I tried the mom-strike thing here a few months ago. Even though I told CJ, it was as if he didn't notice. Didn't care.

Aurelia - feel better.

E is clearly missing real food and interaction, but that is on him, because he is just staying in his room (me being on my computer is upsetting to him since he is on electronics ban for the week). I have realized how much of my interaction with him involves me asking him what he wants and if I can get him stuff. I am clearly part of the problem.

He is currently puzzled, that "whatever I want to do" includes listing things on ebay (which he would consider chore/work).
