Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Took my folks to American University museum to see an exhibit of contemporary Israeli art. It was...interesting.

On the way there an SUV didn't see our car and scraped up the side. No one was hurt, and the car runs fine, but still more excitement than we'd like.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ooh, Magic, the one with the puppet?

Yep. Living-doll horror is not my cuppa!

Vanilla flavored whiskey?? Really?

Yep. That is my cuppa. Goes really well with Vanilla Coke!

Magic 8-Ball was right. I remain slothful.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

just sold like 20 CDs on ebay. woot! they are all without cases, so I was unsure if they would sell. few bucks here, few bucks there, little less clutter in my home.

These CDs are step one in emptying out a 2 drawer IKEA storage thing that I want to get rid of. Must empty the furniture to sell the furniture.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Kuzu root starch is a good thickener. (It's also good for upset tummies once you have it around the house, fwiw). I'm trying to find its glycemic deets now.

Oh, hey, I forgot to report that I finally got rid of the old doghouse. A guy from Freecycle came and got it for his rescue dog. Aww. Happy doggie, and one less thing in my domain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

l, on the other hand, feel like I've matched three dark reds pretty closely, for a very casual look anyway, since it's a T shirt (Supernatural), a broomstick skirt , and the same bag and shoes as everyday.

Braless is pretty unremarkable for me (can't speak for my public) once every couple of months, my hair regimen is centred around not combing, and the last time I wore makeup I was alone and it was for a photo.

I don't know if I'd go as far as a whole new vegetable for the soup Maybe I'll try unthickened first.

Because books.

The Fall Fair at Sara's school is next Saturday, so I'm donating anything they'll take.

I'm so sorry about your grandmother, msbelle. Is she in the hospital?

And comparison to other starches here:

You'll have to do the math yourself to see if it's worth it. :)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Also, I got a lead on a job which might be really interesting: doing environmental work in-house for a big solar company. Sounds cool, less stressful than consulting, and less ridiculous than federal work.

For homes, businesses or those great swaths of solar farms?

I'm sorry about your grandmother's fall, msbelle. Glad they finally got the pain under control.
