Yeah, not to be whatever, but that kid has had some exposure to some inappropriate stuff, don't you think?

That's what I'm thinking.
In a bit of Friday awesomeness,I offer this: [link]
I'd be worried if my son HAD said that, that's why I notified the other boy's mom.
Oddly enough, I don't worry when my son runs around the house naked, but that's in part because I know he doesn't contemplate running around the school that way.
That is a little disturbing, Burrell. Not the naked part, the part about what the other kid said. Graphically sexual remarks from really little kids always worry me.
Aaaahhh, no. That's a pretty nasty thing for a kid that age to have in his head much less tell another, younger, kid, MUCH LESS say it's someone else. That's messed up on levels.
I'm glad you were able to tease it open, though, Burrell. I wouldn't be surprised by kids keeping mum about something like that. I certainly wouldn't have had that conversation with my parents unless I wanted them to crack heads.
The fruit salad at Gelson's is expensive period, but the fruit salad with the ingredients that are more low glycemic (more berries, less melon and pineapple) are even more so. Big surprise. It's more like a cup of fruit than fruit salad, so I'm clearly getting what I paid for, though. And no--even though it would be cheaper to buy all the bits myself there's no way I could manage three kinds of berry, two of grapes, two of melon and pineapple without something always rotting and fruit flies moving in for the duration.
I brought in a slice of pie for my cubemate, since I've never seen him eat anything at his desk that he won't break in two for me. He seemed sincere with his appreciation, but now I'm explaining it's marginally healthy pie to everyone who walks past.
I need to work out whole grain pastry, not just whole wheat. That will be properly low-gly.
I'm not as strict as I could be--I eat of the melons, and I'll have a couple slices whole wheat bread a week, but in general I seem to be reaping benefits, so I have to give my psychologist more credit for impacting my physical health recently (I'm gonna say the background buzz of migraines has maybe slid down a point, although exacerbations are as frequent and intense as always) than the three MDs who are supposed to be working at it. No reply from the neuro, BTW, although his assistant has confirmed he's read the email. Go team!
Just to play devil's advocate, it's REALLY easy for little kids to inadvertently say sexually explicit things just because they think anything having to do with pants/butts/weiners is funny.

It was the part about sitting on his face that seemed worrisome to me, but you're right. Still worth telling the kid's parent, though.

Yeah, I think we might have to move after all. Stupid fruit flies.
Still worth telling the kid's parent, though.
Oh yeah. If my kid said anything like that to another kid, I'd want to know.
Hey, is there such a thing as a picture of Clark Kent (or Superman) in high heels? I need one for reasons.
