That's about right. I get up at 5:00ish without an alarm every day.
Good god. That is not and never will be me.
I am with Burrell's husband, in hating Hotel California.

Things learnt today: royal albatross babies take 3-6 days after first breaking the eggshell to hatch. One mother albatross successfully reared a chick at the age of 62.
Things learned at the Aquarium yesterday: penguins spit up balls of feathers much the same way (and reason) as cats spit up hairballs.
Yet another reason that they probably wouldn't make good housepets.
I am trying to parse "royal albatross babies" as something to do with that new prince...
My husband hates The Eagles. He even hates "Hotel California." I don't understand why anyone from California and of a certain age would hate that song. It's like the one area where our age difference makes itself apparent. The other is my inability to recognize Dinosaur Jr songs when they come on the radio.
I think I may be Burrell's husband. Also, you live in a town where they play Dinosaur Jr. on the radio? I want to be there!
I love you guys. You know I have a bad AM radio playing in my head right? It's telling me to say, we had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun. t /fears that may be a canadian pop culture reference
fears that may be a canadian pop culture reference
I was always of the understanding that Canada has one season in the sun.
One a year, billytea.
The stars we could reach we're just starfish on the beach, Sue.
I've heard many covers of that song over the years. As well as what I assume was the original back when I woke up to an AM clock radio.
And now I'm earwormed with Weezer's Islands in the Sun, which takes me back to southern Africa in 2001. Funny.
Which gets me to Islands in the Stream, and musing about how Dolly aged much more gracefully than Kenny.
