I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Kat, if you are overwhelmed by all that, it is not because you are the overwhelmed type. That's a lot of balls.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Buffista cuddlepile!

Which consists of individuals cuddled around their textual/electronic devices of choice, with beverage and/or furred animal where they don't have to see their fellow cuddlers, but they can see them if they want, and even lean over to touch them if required.

It'll cure all the ills that are in this social space.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

and even lean over to touch them if required.

After the wedding, a friend who was there said "You hugged A LOT of people -- was it hard?"

Me: "Did you see me WITHOUT a drink in my hand, other than the ceremony?"

Friend: "No...ohhhhhh, right. Good plan!"

Full of champagne, I was running around and hugging and calling Tim's brother's "Bro!" and when "It's Raining Men" came on I ran inside, looked at our friends who were -- for real, now -- talking about beekeeping, and said, "It's raining MEN, bitches! Get your asses on the dance floor!"

So, my point is...have a drink and hug the shit out of who- or whatever you want to hug. Or don't.

But it IS raining men, bitches.

(I may be on my third glass of wine, BTW.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Lots of ~ma for your mom, Cash.

Teppy, that is so perfect. It makes me happy. Raining men, indeed.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Me: "Did you see me WITHOUT a drink in my hand, other than the ceremony?"

This is a bit more Raj than Sheldon.

Very true. I'm probably a 40/60 mix of Raj and Sheldon.

Although I was going more for Karen Walker. Or Dorothy Parker. (Although I can't see Dorothy Parker saying "It's raining MEN, bitches!")

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm so sorry, Kate.

And Burrell, all good thoughts to your sister, you, and your family. May she be able to make a decision she's content with, that you can help her achieve.

Cash, excellent on your test results, and all best thoughts for your mom.

Kat, your life exhausts me just reading it. You're a valiant person, no doubt.
