So, because my neighborhood is awesome, there is one store that is collecting housewares for my friend whose house burned down, another store is collecting clothing for her, her husband and their two kids, and another is collecting toiletries and makeup. And someone else is talking about starting a book drive. It's really pretty amazing.
My meeting with my grandboss was fine, nothing concrete came out of it but she gave me some avenues to explore. I hope I can figure out how to follow through and not be in a position next spring where I'm feeling super stuck in a rut.

The nurse had just begun the infusion (literally, as in, the orange dye hadn't even entered her PICC line yet, so only trace amounts of the chemo must have been in her system) when she went beet red and got disoriented and then said her chest felt tight. Oh, Burrell, how scary and frustrating.
What Cass said. Goodness.
Y'all need some straightforwardness, man! Now! I mandate it, with my medical powers!
Yes, frustrating and scary is exactly right. Thanks for letting me vent here.
