Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That's a great picture, ita.
And what an awful situation in your family. Ugh.
And I'm so sorry for your friends, Lisa!
I only ran the experiment once, but the traps baited with honey got more flies than the ones with vinegar.
Finally, this made me laugh.
The key thing with fruit flies really is figuring out where they live/what they are eating.
Oh my dog, you two. I left a piece of cheese on the counter which got all gross and hard so I decide to give it to the animals AS A TREAT.
I drop a piece for the cat, who looks away, doesn't see where it falls, and just continuously keeps yowling at me.
I hand the other piece to the dog who takes it reluctantly, drops it in front of her, and keeps staring back and forth between it and me until I explicitly tell her it's okay. I PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH DOG OF COURSE IT'S OKAY.
When did you forget how to dog, dog (and cat)?
In her defense I'm not sure Darby ever actually knew how to dog.
Aw, good dog Darby.
Aw, Darby!
My mom had very thin, very fine hair which she dyed regularly and permed, and set it weekly with curlers (my grandmother got her hair set at the beauty parlor every Saturday) until she had lung cancer.
After that, it grew in silver-taupe and she's kept it about an inch, inch and a half long. She just pats a little shine serum on it. It's much like Carol's on The Walking Dead.
Maybe this will not be as interesting to other people as it is to me, but did you know that Craisins are made of the leftovers from juicing the cranberries??
That's neat.
So they're little dried pieces of cranberry pulp?
