I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The Capitol is locked down with reports of gunfire.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Capitol is locked down with reports of gunfire.

Wow.

My first reaction was "Now what?"

Well, I got the paperwork from the bank on the condo, so it looks like I'm going to be a homeowner. Of course, I've still got to get through the closing and everything that entails (HOW many types of insurance? Seriously?).

Be prepared to forget how to sign your name. (Actually, refi was much worse than purchasing...) Congrats!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I had one notary insist I sign my legal name (Susan) instead of my normal signiture (Suzi). The basic rule for notaries is that you can sign less but not more than your legal name. But this gal would not be moved - I have no idea how to sign with Susan, still don't.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm seeing reports that the lockdown has been lifted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tom's ABC source agrees with you, Jess.

I have an extremely apropos de rien question: if a character is looking everywhere for God and decides to ask animals which animals might make good picture opportunities? This is a sincere question--I've already done elephant. I can't do whale, since someone else aced that ridiculously. I am currently experimenting with tigers, considering birds of prey, large snakes, bison, butterflies (maybe bees--it's a thing)...limitation to the picture being I have to be able to draw it, clearly. So nothing like a jaguarundi which will come off my pen looking like a broken cat or anything. Some good ideas wilt by virtue of the soil in my garden.
