Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's amazing how the first time you hear and love something because the "right" version.

It's funny, because some of the choices weren't actually my favorite, but anything else feels like a departure from "normal" in my head/ear.

Though later research showed that some sections had to be tweaked due to the tenor's illness and subsequent vocal weakness.

That was one of the things we discussed -- how a conductor can't just pick a speed because you have to take into account the abilities of the choir and orchestra, the size of the hall, etc.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Strix, your hair looks awesome! Indeed, awesome, I say.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei! I was totally thinking of you this morning (but I'm too forgetful to think of the context). I think it was to wonder how you and your family were doing. It was related to a Prius and how you said you would like a Prius if only it fit a jogging stroller. God. How long ago was that?!

We're good! Lilly stayed home yesterday after having a puke attack in the middle of Sunday night--I suspect because she had too much pie and ice cream at my parents' house plus kept insisting my brother in law juggle her. Busy, though. Really busy. Lilly's got an IEP set up finally, and the school wants her to have a neuropsych eval to figure out if there are more things to try, as her IEP eval piece was all over the map. She's got a mixed type ADHD diagnosis for now.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Thankee, Zen, Jesse!

I was afeared of the bangs, but I love them!!

Plei, that's tricksy. Hope you get some ace psychologists/psychiatrists/SPED teachers/school counselors!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Plei, if you need additional resources, if there's a chapter of CHADD near you, it can be extremely helpful.

We've got an awesome team at her school, so I just need to contact the person at her pediatricians office to get a ref for the eval.

Always Anti-fascist!

Tep, unless you blame me for the fucknutpalooza that is my state, I don't hold you responsible for Boner. I love Chris Hayes...so smart, and yet, cute and bouncy enough to want one in your pocket(Maybe that's just me) So sorry for all the shutdown people, maybe it will be short? Still fucked, though, even if it gives the Donkeys political advantage. Nobody wins with shit like that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys, this morning I was thinking that sometime before I move, I should go through my tupperware and get rid of tops and bottoms without a mate. So I just did it now! Months before moving! I finally admitted that the missing tops were not going to appear.

....OK, that may be the definition of a tiny triumph, but I'll take it.
