Excellent name!

MUCH BETTER PIE.
Dodgy on the low glycemic thing--next pie might be non-wheat, or it'll be the one for work, but the changes in the filling and pastry were both marked improvements.
That's great for your cousin, Hil! Has she been keen to act for a while? I'm always impressed with people who know those things that young.
My NOLA cousin is moving out to LA again, apparently. She accelerated her BA to move to NY for her film career, which didn't make sense to me, but she will be back here for same soon. Which is great! I do have family out here, but not family family, the sort I used to live with or anything.
I'm impressed by Hil's mad geneology skills!
I went to see "Baggage Claim"--it was very standard and predictable. Which I didn't mind for 75% of the movie but I kinda hated all of the ending for being ridiculous. Not sure why I would expect otherwise but whatever. The exciting part was the previews--the Mandela one made me tear up (I might be a bit overly sensitive these days) and I found out there's going to be a sequel to "The Best Man", which I am stoked about. I love that movie.
I am a bad cat mom. Just realized that since CJ is off house sitting, the litter boxes haven't been cleaned for a few days. One was gross and full and yuck while the other had barely anything. Cats are weird.
Finbarr Fancypants!!!
And yet, I'd liked that name so much I was kinda hoping you wouldn't take it so I could, whenever I get a new hellion.
But the McGee definitely makes it. Do you know what kind of cat he is?
Hil's genealogy-fu is amazing!
BTW definitely the right William Lipow. And now that I know his original name was Welwel Lipowitz , maybe I can find out the details about the family legend of his killing a Cossack.
That was amazing.
Anyone else have genealogy queries? I have fun with this stuff -- I like solving puzzles.
Do you do British questions, Hil? A part of the family believes we are related to the Barrett Brownings but I don't think they have any negro issue.

I can give it a try. A lot of British records are online, and generally indexed pretty well.
