The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Cecilorensebastibarr does sort of roll off the tongue.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

A long name for a long tail.

He's totally a Mr. Fancypants for one of his unofficial names. You can see it in his posture.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it all seemed a bit hopeless.

Welcome to investigating genealogy bounded by forced relocation and illiteracy. There's a bit of a wall there.

My maternal grandma is famed for her six kids spaced by five years each, where the youngest girl (she went boy-girl three times) thought the oldest was her mother (and I guess my mother just didn't say anything? Everyone is called by their names, so...) until a pretty traumatic revelation. If Aunt A had been Aunt G's daughter it would have been absolutely no thing. The thing was the 12 year old that quit school to stay with G and help raise A (I can see where Miss Mac was way over that stuff at this point). But then everyone got very used to that, and she lived with our family until she died of old age five or so years ago. And her daughter raised A's kids, and is now raising the kids of my third cousin.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Lorazampam starts acting in 15-20 minutes, generally, and lasts about 2-3 hours. Depending on dosage.

Pretty kitty! I like Sir Cecil Fancybottom.

My great-great-grandfather's barn was a secret depot for Quantrill's Raiders. And we have a copy (modern) of a cousin's diary during the Civil War. I did a report on it for 8th grade history class. And Jacob Sallee, who was a French Huguenot, who used to accuse the preacher of his church of being Satan.

My dad did a ton of genealogy, but the bete noire of all my genealogy-loving relative is some dude in the 1600's of Virginia, who changed his name deliberately or accidentally and thus FUBARS up an important chain leading back to England or Scotland. He's like Nessie.

Oh, yes.

Ooh. Wooster is a good name. As would Bertie.

Oh, he's a pretty boy! He's gonna look so regal and posh in those floral chairs. He's definitely going to need a title.

Congrats, Anne! Have fun getting to know each other.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

What ho, Mr. Cecilorenzebastibarr Wooster-Jeeves Fancypants (pronounced Smythe Jonze)!

I may have gotten a bit carried away with the name bit. But felicitations to both of you on finding each other.
