Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What does the sentence "half the population was decimated" even supposed to mean??? Within context it's nu-decimation, but still--I can't tell if that means almost half the people died (MASSIVE) or like a quarter (pretty fucking bad, but not a half, you know). LANGUAGE. WORDS.

It just doesn't make any sense to rent a car when I go to SLC. The light rail takes me from the airport to a block from work and a block from the hotel and there are lots of restaurants in between.

Suzi, double check the times that the rail runs, Utah has a weird relationship with public transit, as in it's believed that "those" people ride it and doesn't need to be convenient to normal people.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I will not engage with crazy wrong-headed people on the Internet.

Aw. I wanted to ask how you were doing.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Suzi, double check the times that the rail runs

I kinda wondered about that, but earlier this week the times worked out perfect for me. And I think on the trains were the only time I saw any diversity. Sad.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was going to suggest Propet as a (cuter) alternative to Dansko, but the pair Kate linked are totally cute! But, just in case:

If you're going to be in SLC on Sunday, be extra careful with times.

and unfortunately, the diversity on public transit is the primary complaint of many people who bitch about riding trains and busses.

The status is NOT quo.

Ha! BT made me laugh.

I like the people here. You're my kind of crazy and wrong-headed.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I also recommend Danskos. Sometimes you can get them on 6pm.com or ebay cheaper. Mine don't last as long as Kate's because I have a limp and wear down one heel (I should really investigate shoe repair

information libertarian

I am about ready to give up on Danskos because I wear the heels down so fast and they are NOT repairable. I am wondering if they have a new sole material that wears more quickly, because I have been wearing Danskos for about 15 years and they have never worn out as fast as my last couple of pairs. I am considering trying Sanitas instead.
