I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Compassionately intolerant

Wow. That never occurred to me!

Now I need it to be true.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I didn't mean for it to be, but I'm open-minded on pronunciation. I'm used to the "-" being silent. Negativity is much cleverer, but a bit of a downer...

Go Charlie Jane, that sounds like something I would watch! And probably should read.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh, sweet holy fuck. -t, your name isn't pronounced "negativity" is it?

OMG. I was going to feel like such a dumbass. crisis averted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG. I was going to feel like such a dumbass. crisis averted.

Pretty much my thought exactly.

Because books.

I'm still confused. Oh! I get it. Heh.

MasterChefJunior is giving me a giant inferiority complex.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The key to happy rabbit-owning is getting them young. I got my beloved Jerry Fodor when he was a wee just-weaned puffball tiny enough to fit in my pocket, and made sure he spent the rest of his bunny childhood being cuddled and handled and passed from one human to another to another; by the time he was grown, he associated the big two-footed creatures with chin skritches, butt-pats and nibbly treats, and he was pretty damn dear. He even got up onto my lap once when I was crying hopelessly over some misery or other and licked my tears (I'm not an idiot, I know he was just thinking, "Salty treats!", but it was very comforting nonetheless).

Bunny in a cage or in an outside hutch - grumpy and bitey. Much cuddled and socialized bunny - hoppy galumphy snoodlebug.

I've got my superhero name, now! Or super-villain might be more suitable. I'll have to think about appropriate powers and costuming.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'll have to think about appropriate powers and costuming.

Negative Image costume, obvi.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am not sure how you didn't cry harder with a bunny licking your tears. I'm not sure how it is possible to be happy again after that.

Damn. Poor JZ.
