I heard something about were-pigs ...
I'm doing the most tedious, boring task ever today. Whoo.
In kittens like carrots, news, of course I didn't even finish tying off the bag I dumped scooped litter in before Jackson hopped into the clean litter box to use it this morning. Oh well, at least he's very clear on what it's there for.
Mom came over to visit last night, and the kittens immediately dove behind my comic book boxes to hide. I managed to coax them out into view with treats but they never approached close enough to be petted. I think corralling them for their new owner is going to have to be a one-man operation and involve luring them into carriers with canned cat food.
I was happy to see the big tomcat come running up to my porch and wolf down his food as usual. I think he's beat his cold and is feeling better today.
Why oh why did I think having my weekly meeting with my boss on Friday was a good idea? I am always tired and cranky when we meet, and I don't wanna! Booo.
I was just randomly poking around on the-toast, and saw this brief exchange about BDSM cons (SFW) and laughed inappropriately at my desk: [link]
I just took the longest walk around the building looking for two people specifically, and neither of them were here. Yay exercise.

Yeah, they like to mark it right away.
I'm watching an all-Plinko episode of TPIR and trying to figure out how to get the city to restripe our sidewalk. Just witnessed a T-boning outside that I fear each time I leave this building. Even the cops agreed that the visibility here is nuts.
Our new kitty (named Mariano or Mo for short) slept in our bed for the first time last night. We had been isolating him in the guest room because of the dogs and the other cat. He snuggled right down in between us. Our dog Chet also went to sleep in his bed on the floor, just like usual and we all slept well. Success!
Infusion clinic. One way to make stop and do next to nothing for a few hours. I hope the iron makes a difference. I'm tired of feeling like crap. The major fog outside could also disappear.
Today is First Responder Appreciation Day in Colorado and a few other states. Why it isn't a national thing is beyond me.

I...don't even know what this sentence means.
Also, why can I get to websites (like. GOOGLE, or the company home page) from my home computer but my work computer keeps telling me it can't (even though it can connect to email and the VPN)? Grr.
Hope the infusion helps, Suzi! It is gross out here, too. I keep hoping we'll get some more nice weather before we are in the permanent grey funk for winter.
