'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Fingers crossed, Cash!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Cash, how awful. Fuck cancer indeed.

Because books.

I think we really need to explore a castle for sale.

Also, god, NYC real estate makes me cry.

Oh Cash, that sucks so much. Your poor mom.

I think kittens poop extra. At least, that's been my experience with them.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Chateau Me Want. Hilarious. Although I'm pretty happy with the real estate market in Wisconsin.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry, Cashmere. I hope this is also easily treatable.

eeew, to Jesse's lobby.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god damn, Cash. I hope this is as straightforward as possible.

Heard more from the Kenyan friends. The mother (my sister's university friend) had been in the mall that morning with her daughter and left because of bad vibes. Which sounds all cheesy hindsight-y, but she's been through ridiculously traumatic UN hostage training (who trains for scenarios where your hands are blown off? Simone does.). Amongst other things she saw the lights flickering in a way that felt like "human intervention" and not "third world power issues" so she grabbed her young daughter (5? 7?) and bolted.

I need to get my sleep meds switched. I think I managed to stay with my eyes closed for almost an hour formulating the call to my sleep doc, but...if 3mg of Lunesta doesn't get me through the night, my Lunesta resistance is built up and I need to switch back to Ambien. Shame my doctor is resistant to that idea, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Someone is asking $3m for a house in Jamaica???? (Jamaica, Queens.)

Holy crap, ita. I do think gut instincts are often actually training and experience.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Also, god, NYC real estate makes me cry.

To be fair, those NYC apartments are (mostly) monstrously overpriced for their neighborhoods, and the cost of a $2m castle doesn't even begin to take into account the cost of owning a $2m castle.
