Wait, what are they doing? Did they list the nominees and then introduce other introducers without naming the winners?

Bob Newhart! Man, I want to watch some late '70s TV in a bad way right now.
Colbert's wife said "You won!" I guess he wasn't expecting to.
Bob Newhart's variety show won an Emmy the year before I was born. Whoa.
Rather than watch old Newhart, listen to some of his old record comedy OMG best stuff.

I thought she said "You rock!"
I am such an awards show sucker. Why am I staying up late to watch this? I don't even watch the shows that win most stuff.

That's a great idea.
Where is the like button. On the bench with Jesse and msbelle (even though she doesn't like me much right now).
I liked what I saw, though: it's less sentimental than I expected, what with the two broken families (although I suspect that's the point).
Yeah. Also, Alan and Celia just seem so realistic, despite their impetuous-seeming decisions. They're just people, not old people (which is realistic, but rarely well portrayed.) And I loved tonight when they just got lost laughing at Celia's daughter and SIL fighting. It has so little pretense. I think my parents will enjoy it, hope I can get it on dvd for xmas, since they aren't getting it on their PBS.

I could be wrong.

Me too. I like the outfits and the dance numbers and to see if anyone says or does anything especially funny. But I'm probably calling out sick to work tomorrow anyway...
