OK, Robin Wright's hair is awesome, and I kind of dig the capped sleeves/mock neck look. It's still more flattering than Lena Headey's dress.

Whereas I've been watching Last Tango in Halifax. Which is a really charming little series. And has one of my favorite actresses, Nicola Walker, in a supporting role. She's just so convincing in whatever role she plays.

Argh, none of y'all's links are going to the right pictures!

I don't understand what some of them are thinking. I mean, sure, some of them it looks awful, but I can see how they might be deluded, or have been going for something different, or whatever. But like...what is Amanda Peet thinking? That this looks GOOD?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Are the Emmys actively trying to drive people over to Breaking Bad?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, no, Elton John is singing a sad song! Can't fast forward! ARGH

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

She dressed up as Dean Norris?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sofia Vergara's hair is too blonde.

It's way closer to her natural color, though. She had to go darker when she moved here to look "Latina enough." (Not sure why this was the thing I needed to copy and reply to!)

Argh, none of y'all's links are going to the right pictures!

I'm kind of amused by seeing what pops up, though.

Jessica Lange better own this category.

And has one of my favorite actresses, Nicola Walker, in a supporting role.

She's so awesome: she was one of the best things about Spooks.

I've seen the 1st episode of Last Tango, but haven't watched any more yet. I liked what I saw, though: it's less sentimental than I expected, what with the two broken families (although I suspect that's the point).

See, and some people look good when they take risks, and some don't...

Vera Farmiga looks ridiculous with enormous straight up hair.

This girl ("Betsy Brandt", per the caption, no idea who she is), looks fierce, somehow! (Though I'd love her to have bolder lipstick)
