I'm going to say that sometimes "old" just means that the people who built it didn't expect it to remain standing this long. That'd be my home. It's not "old" as in historically valuable or built a long long time ago, it's "old" as in "damn, all the siding has finally rotted out and we need to replace the wiring, don't we?"
Okay wait, nevermind, I think there's another word for that. My house is a "tear-down." "Old" sounds better.
Holy shit, ita!
Also I love that my reaction was a mix of msbelle's and Nora's.
ita!Dad.
Seriously. I think my reaction would've been "well, that happened, let's call the police". Not, like, some awesome hollywood sidewalk jumping carchase.
NF rumored to be singing and dancing on the Emmys tonight.
and Um he just arrived with a short busty brunette. I feel robbed.
I guess I'm missing the Emmy red carpet right now?
I am halfway watching online because I do not have cable, I think it is only early arrivals.
Funny thing is (NOT FUNNY AT ALL, FAMILY) my mother was robbed in her car ten years or so back, and the guy was taking his own sweet time picking and choosing her jewellery. Something he asked her for was one thing too much and she snapped, and despite the gun he claimed to have she jumped out of the car yelling and chased him off. She never got her stuff back, but she did stop him from stealing it all.
ISTG, I hope I'd comply and just let property crimes happen, but I feel the deck is stacked way against me.
If you wrote that in a story, people would say it was unbelievable.
Oh, believe me, I tried to tell him this.
I'm just glad they continue to be alright.
