See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Whee, I love wedding spoilers!

I am spoiled as all hell for this wedding, but it hasn't diminished my pleasure in it one bit.

Tep, that's a gorgeous bouquet. Billions of blessings and joys (and well-behaved relations [except your brother, who seems to be at his best when he's off-center and snarking (these nesting parentheses are just for you)]) to you and Tim today and always.

Happy birthdays, smonster and Sophia! Sophia originally uttered my first ever Buffy-related tagline ("I was surprised when they ate the pig, but I was shocked when they ate the principal") and I remember being all shy about asking permission because it was already a community and everyone seemed so cool.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Happy wedding day, Steph and Tim!

Happy Birhday Sophia! Happy Birthday smonster!

Happy Wedding Day Steph! And congrats on the job!

I would give anything for my right ear to drain. Cold + flying always leads to ear misery.

Happy wedding day, Steph!

I returned from the farmer's market to strange sounds I couldn't zero in on... until I noticed that one of my upper desk drawers was open a couple of inches. Molly popped out when I removed the drawer, so I guess she was able to crawl up inside the desk from the underside. I have a feeling I'm going to be finding her in all sorts of places I wouldn't have suspected a cat could fit.

Because books.

Aw, kittens. Is there any way to confine them one room for a while?

Not really. I have a loft apartment, so it's basically all one big room with a semi-closed off bedroom. (Two of the walls to that stop at 7 feet, so it's not inconceivable that they could clamber their way over it.) I'm pretty much having to settle for moving breakables to the top of the refrigerator or wardrobe and crossing my fingers. I've already resigned myself to the likelihood of my snapdragons becoming a chew toy - those dangling vines are probably going to be irresistable once they're a little more confident in their surroundings.
