Yay, Steph!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Fuck YEAH, Steph! That's so awesome! Happy early wedding present!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

FUCK YEAH, Steph!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yay, Steph! Definitely an early wedding present. Makes the honeymoon that much more happy to know you'll come back to a job (part-time).

Scola just had to one-up me. Fantastic x-post though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Woo hoo, Steph!

How did you pay for it? Can you go back through your bank/cc statements?

Probably with a credit card I don't have any more. And I'm sure I don't have statements from 10 years ago. I'm hoping there's something in my "medical" files.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray, Steph!

I am working on a tv show today. I haven't found craft services yet and I'm getting kinda hungry.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Congrats, Steph!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"This isn't the most [adjective] [noun] but it isn't the least either."

Thank you for showing up and using your words. I love communication.

I am of the opinion that you don't show up at a client location (as a techie) in a T-shirt that is not your company logo. Homer Simpson speaking Japanese is not guaranteed appropriate wherever you go.

I need a transition from current boss/job to next week, and I haven't had one yet. I asked for one yesterday, and nothing. I asked again today, and scheduled for 90 minutes from now. I'm not sure why this is something I have to ask for, but I guess I'm not surprised it's down to the wire.

Girls and boys, when you're looking to leave, start at least lining up the loose ends. So once notice is given, things can close down gracefully. For the survivors.

::sigh:: In the past couple months I've broken an ankle, had a steroid/epidural wear off, toasted at TiVo HD/tablet/work laptop/home PC/various car components. I've flown my sister to CA, and paid for my ticket to JA. I've lost a boss, and I am sure I still have a job, I just don't know which one yet. I've been told my doctor will probably not be able to refill my painkiller prescription on time (I requested 2 weeks in advance--I'm not sure how much more proactive I can be without time travel) so I'm titrating down so I can last.

I am so fucking exhausted. I'm not sure when the metaphorical break comes.
