Sometimes it is very hilarious to watch my social network, erm, network. One friend has sent me a job listing at his company and sent my resume to the hiring manager, another friend at another company gave my resume to the HR munchkin at her company, and I've already been contacted about setting up a phone call. That was today, and I'm not officially unemployed yet.

Today was...a day. I spent several hours keeping the boys and girls from fighting. Or rather, bosses and minions. Really, save it for the performance review, don't waste my time being pissy. (And really? If everyone would get some freaking perspective, this was something you *couldn't* test. For reasons we all chafe against, but can't control.)

So above my pay grade, but I have little patience for that sort of leg-pissing.

New intern is a gem. Still dealing with other potential intern's transition coordinator. She's apparently harassing new boss lady about a start date, whilst new boss lady is saying "I'm waiting for references to get back to me". Which is not boding well for boss lady's good favour. Maybe if you hadn't fucked up your original interview date by three weeks. (Seriously, if this is the responsibility shown by the staff, what should we expect of the students?!).

I'm just having pasta with bolognese because the leftovers have been in the refrigerator for a while and I need to clear out some space before the weekend so I have room to store a big batch of cauliflower curry.

Man, I kind of love that as a quick and dirty dinner. I think it's a texture issue -- I *love* the texture of ramen. Don't know why, can't explain it, but I love it.

So yesterday I wanted to get in my car and just drive, leave everything I am responsible for behind and just disappear. Today I just want to not have to work and or maybe have a extended period of time alone. FTR I did not runaway, thus I keep my grown-up card. I do this grudgingly.

Here's a gold star, msbelle! But, I totally feel you.

I'd rather sit here and keep looking until I reach the end of the internet. But in a few minutes, I'm going to go wash dishes instead.
