Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wow, Jesse and Dana are good at this. I'm gonna hire you two to write my next review for me. I'm all about the outsourcing.

I don't remember when I joined the Board! I know it was after there was a Phoenix Board because I was never on WX. I joined under another pseud, lurked for a while, left, came back, changed my name, and slowly started being active. But I don't recall the timeline. Is there a way to find out? I'd like to be able to integrate B.org properly in the timeline of my life.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish you guys could fill in my timesheet. I'm two months behind, and---WHAT THE FUCK IS MY PASSWORD??? This is my third hard drive in that length of time, plus two password resets.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Lee!

Happy birthday, board!

Tomorrow is the last day I go into the office, and it's only to meet with the HR munchkin to hand in the laptop and badge.

Because books.

You must have come soon after this board was up, Zen -- your user number is 423. If you hover over any poster's name, you'll see their number in the lower left-hand corner.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sharing a tiny bit of the comments on a friend's FB, because it is just so Quebec:

Max S Sorry to have missed you! Et oui Benoit, je sais que c'est difficile à croire, mais ca reste bien possible d'organiser une belle manif inclusive sans l'implication de SI.

Erik K Hej hilsen fra Mallorca,håber i har det godt.

Jarrett R We are well Erik, though our government is making dangerous and disruptive proposals!

Makes me laugh. It's not even the content, just the random and unacknowledged language switchery.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

I am continuing my plan to do whatever I feel like by eating sushi for lunch. This afternoon will probably be hammock and/or nap oriented, though I do need to be awake at 3:30 so I can pretend to listen to a work call
