Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Lee!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Was on the phone with husband. Looked over at floor, and (bug whitefont) there's a roach lying there. Pretending to be dead. He recommends that I put tupperware over it until he gets home and can deal with it. Roach chooses that point to start flailing madly.

I have decided I cannot cope with this, so now I'm hiding upstairs until he comes home.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I just need to write about my strengths and I can submit my self-assessment. I need to figure out how to convince myself to do this so I can be done.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

One of your strengths is you can convince yourself to write about your strengths?

ION, my boss just brought his golden retriever puppy to work.

PUPPY!

Working part-time is good, but it's not making me scared enough to spend a lot of time looking for work.

Yeah, I could see how that would be hard. Is any of the part-time stuff likely to turn into full-time?

Happy Birthday Board!

Also, I want someone to bring a puppy to my work! Or, well, to my house, since that's where I am. Maybe one that would be sleepy and sit in my lap.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Lee!

The board is ELEVEN? I should maybe fix the right hand column soon. It's a tween! It's going to start getting more self-conscious around its friends and...puberty and holding hands with other boards.

::sigh::

Colin's babby still doesn't have a name! It's a fun process to watch textually, though. Careful to only analyse names after they're tossed.

Because books.

Over my dead body, young lady!

I mean, um.
