Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LeN, give me fifteen minutes and some creative liberties, and I can have one of these set up for you.

Note I didn't ask for standards. Please don't give me any of those. Complicates *everything*.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Is this woo nurse that you frequently have to call when she's about an hour later than agreed upon? Because that is just not acceptable. You wait in the car. Knock at 9, not a damn minute earlier.

Weird having guests up and gone and my whole house back to normal by 9. The only truly sad part is that my thermostat is back to normal ranges and no longer set at "Don't melt the Niecelet and Boy."

I have a couple day old weird blister (possibly from an unnoticed burn or just my skin in that precious that someone through something mean at it and that hurt) across my inner left wrist. It's a little puffy but I am assuming that it is just complaining because the protective skin came off and a lot of handwashing. So I covered it up loosely with gauze and Neosporin about twenty minutes ago and it stopped hurting. It never felt warm. So I can check it later today barring it trying to get my attention earlier and not risk losing my arm, right?

My ability to find horizontal surfaces to nap on on mornings of days I need to start cleaning remains epic.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

(possibly from an unnoticed burn or just my skin in that precious that someone through something mean at it and that hurt)

Maybe it's oversleeping, but I just can't parse this?

Yeah, good lord. Early and late both not ok, lady! Learn.

I still have houseguests (sis and BIL)--last night they got in and were sleepy on east coast time, so we got some food from trader joe's and watched some tv. Today, dim sum! Yay.

I can do better than parse, I can actually type ALL of the words this time.

(possibly from an unnoticed small burn from randomly contacting some hot surfaces in the desert where everything is hot or just my skin being so sensitive and precious that someone thought something mean at it and then it blistered)

Basically a blister showed up on my wrist the other night. Where my wrist moves along the (cool) laptop edge. So I don't know what first initiated the blister. Typing probably made it worse. So protective covering.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Blisters can take a bit of work for me, but I bruise at the drop of a hat. I can bruise from a workout, and it's not like I use high weights or anything.

Oh Cass, yesterday I painted my nails a lovely olive green and thought of you.

Thanks Cass... was worried I was having a Bad Brain Day or something.

Nope. I just was typing after being up much earlier than usual and words failed me. Or I failed them.

but I bruise at the drop of a hat. I can bruise from a workout, and it's not like I use high weights or anything.

Me too, especially currently. I've always been an easy bruiser but it's kinda ridiculous right now. Started taking vitamins again and will ask my Dr when I see him in a couple of weeks. Right now all WebMD has for me is looking into safe places to live. But it's just me and gravity. Our dysfunctional relationship is hard to quit.

Oh Cass, yesterday I painted my nails a lovely olive green and thought of you.

Mine are Peace on Earth which I love. If I never find a bottle of At Your Quebec and Call, I can live contentedly knowing that I still have fun options. AYQaC is still one of those "But I do so wants it" colors. Not enough to stalk auctions, but if I saw one, I would grab it. Probably name it Precious.
