He doesn't really want to be petted or picked up--just to be left alone. He is growing incontinent and barely eats. However, he seems comfortable and in no pain. He basically stays in one place all day and dozes.
I am going to say the hard thing. It doesn't sound like he has a really high quality of life right now. And pets hide their pain. Not eating and not wanting any attention or comfort doesn't sound like the cat you've described before to me. I am really sorry. It's very hard.
Happy birthday (or perhaps beerthday?), Nora!
It turns out that roasting peaches with brown sugar, butter, a dash of cinnamon and a sprinkle of vanilla, and then topping them with a dab of salted caramel gelato is possibly the best thing I have ever done.
OMG, that sounds amazing.
Happy birthday, Nora!!
That's a pretty damn good thing for anyone to have done.
Many happy returns, Nora!
Happy birthday (or perhaps beerthday?), Nora!
beerthday! beerthday!
-t, even if you did recover from the football game, Breaking Bad is going to shatter you all over again.
Already had that emotional assault, Theo, (East Coast feed of that channel) but I wanted to be starting from a slightly less tense space going in. And I kinda did, so yay.
