Okay, I can see that. Such a shame, though.

Re: wedding favors- we gave out bookmarks. We made sure to get extras, to give to folks at conventions.(We know our friends.)
Oh dear, Jesse.
Maybe My Heart Belongs to Daddy? ;)
My favorite wedding-related song is Kate Wolf's "Give Yourself to Love [link] but I don't know that it's playlist material. Great song, though.
I just read a list that suggested "Standing" from the Buffy musical! But there are a couple if good bin creepy suggetionshttp://offbeatbride.com/2007/06/non-sappy-fatherdaughter-dance-songs
I *LOATHE* goodie bags. Like, flames on the sides of my face loathing. No parent I know wants more cheap plastic tiny toys in their house, so I have no idea why that ever became a thing.
I don't specifically remember getting favors at birthday parties. It seemed more like there were a bunch of games played, such that at some point everyone won something. I do know that other kids' birthday parties were the main source of those stupid wooden paddles with the elastic string and ball attached. My mother would confiscate the paddle once the rubber band broke and use 'em to paddle our behinds.

I was reading through that one a little bit ago!
Not that I am planning a wedding, but I would love "Isn't She Lovely," except isn't that a little much to pick for yourself?? Yes, thank you, I AM lovely!

That is also brilliant (um, in addition to the other thing I said was brilliant hours ago)
Oh, I like "Isn't She Lovely".
Man, I think I seriously messed up adjusting my coffee grinder. Way too fine. The grounds just whooshed right through the filter of the Aeropress and then also mostly got through the drip filter I poured that cup through.
Ginger, I bookmarked your post on the radiation so I have somehwere to go back to when I say "I know someone who understands radiation much better than I, and she says . . ."
