Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I think its gross regardless of the people. Have separate identities!

THIS OMG THIS. Pete occasionally jokes about being "Mr. Jilli", but there is no WAY we would share emails or social media accounts. That's just weird.

Here's what I enjoy: When I reblog something from a local friend's tumblr, and it's a Jilli post.

Ha!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I feel like someone else here might know her, too -- she goes by Daisy Razor on the internet?

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, Daisy is a friend of mine as well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am going to get my hair cut ahead of schedule so I can stick lidocaine patches to my scalp. This isn't medically approved, but it seems less disapproved of then my other pain relief options.

MotherFUCKER.

Small world!

A lot of my aunts and uncles share an email account (not my parents, though! Mom got a gmail account just this month! In addition to her yahoo because she prefers the interface) and I consider that a victory since getting them to USE email was such an ordeal. It lead to quite a bit of hilarity when Frank was here and on his 3rd disposable cell (kept losing them on the road. Note: he also was known for losing shoes, hats, pants, etc on the road*) and so Sue was emailing her(them)self and me to get info to/from Frank, and so I was reading aloud these exasperated notes from her telling him to read their goddamned mail. At one point he said "well, you have her intonation down perfectly. I think she's annoyed with me." Hee.

My second eldest aunt has embraced texting, though. Weirds her daughter out because she totally uses chat-speak, and if you knew Annalee...well, she has perfect Minnesota enunciation and grammar when she speaks. I don't think she's ever uttered a run-on sentence or fragment in her life. But she can out-text her 20-something grandson and future grand-DIL.

* One of the recurring themes from his fellow bikers at the memorial service was 'things Frank left behind.' Several from out of town actually brought some of the things they'd acquired. One guy pretty much won: 'He left ME! And didn't realize it for 90 miles!'

That's hilarious.

My mother has gotten into texting with the iPhone -- it took her a while to get the nuances of text v. email, now that they are both on her phone.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Damn. He posted. I liked. Time to go wrangle into a sports bra and stretch. I'll appreciate this later, I hope.

People embracing technologies is weird. And sometimes fun.

Ouch, ita. I hope it helps.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Repot, I covet those swanky, zero gravity chairs!!! Cool gift!

I am creeped out by couples Facebook accounts. My DH isn't into social media but he keeps an account to stay in touch with friends and to see whom I have offended on any given day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I treat my parents' e-mail addresses as if they were separate but they actually both have access to both of them because it's just easier for them that way. Shrug. Mom is really embracing Facetime and Google Hangouts.

Jeez, my dad is 72 tomorrow and I didn't get him anything. Oops.
