So "Under the Dome" is a trip. No one is acting like I thought they might under similar circumstances.
They have no idea how long they are going to be under this thing. No medicine is left. What do you do?
They need to start putting together gardens and shit. Figuring out how to use what animals they have left. Get out pens and paper and figure how long resources might last.
I've missed a bunch of episodes, although I did see the one where the tornado-looking cloud was swirling. How are they getting weather inside that thing? Or is better not to ask?
Sometimes? But possibly not always. Rain permeates (when required by plot, anyway) but a bomb meant to take out the county does not.
Where were people talking about American Horror Story? I need opinions from people I trust, because all the promotional images for the new season look like EXACTLY the sort of thing I want.
water permeates. the dome is porous. but yes, it was hit with a serious bomb and it remained standing. The city on the outside was leveled and burnt.
Isn't it in the Minear thread?
It does look good, doesn't it?
Sometimes it's Cable, sometimes it's Minear, Jilli. It bounced back and forth the last two seasons.
Okay, I'll go trundle through Minear. Thank you!
And now the process begins to find out why the problem last night took too long to solve.
Thank GOD I don't work in that group right now, because I would have been neck deep in last night instead of ankle (I could also have been the hero, but who cares?). Our vendor is going to get shit, but not the one I manage(d) the relationship with. I've been very grateful to them. The in-shit vendor representative called me, and she's another person with whom we
worked
at loggerheads a lot, but we get on personally (I hate when she hugs me, so she leans in for them a lot, she hates when I bat my eyelashes at her, and that's the easiest thing in the world...). She needed an inside source on what's going to rain down on her company.
YIKES.
