You have NO idea. I called up a manager and swore on his voicemail...and five minutes later realised I'd fucked up the one recoverable way that never needs to go any higher. I did get laughed at, but by someone at my level for not knowing his job better. WHICH IS FINE. I don't do his job. And I told him anything goes as long as the answer was "recoverable".
