Our Prime Minister (Kevin Rudd) is currently on TV conceding defeat, and announcing that he's going to step down as the leader of the Labor Party. That's probably for the best, Labor's greatest handicap over the last three years has been the lack of leadership stability, mainly thanks to his ongoing feud with Julia Gillard. The ALP is going to be best off with new leadership.
