How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh my bad news. hugs to all.

I do not even pretend that I will not be a disaster at any and all family funerals. Jesse has seen in me in full on anguished public wailing, so undignified should have a lower bar for her. ijs.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Kat, that's horrible. And Lee, I'm so sorry.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Heartbreaking and terrible, Kat and Lee.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Kat,

why did the brother stab her? I mean how awful.

Lee, that's terrible too. Goodness.

(I think I need to stop watching "The Shining" now! I'm a little freaked out as it is).

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

How terrible, Lee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What awful losses.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Horrible day Kat. And horrible news, Lee.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ugh -- horrible news all around.

Here's a small ray of good news: my roommate wears sturdy orthopedic shoes because of her job (lots of standing) and diabetic issues. Yesterday she was crossing a street when a car ran over her foot. It appears, aside from some light bruising that her doctor is going to keep an eye on, she didn't get hurt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good lord! How awful, both Lee and Kat!

Holy cow, Theo - that's kind of amazing.

Because books.

Yikes, Theo. Those are some fortunate shoes, though.

First day of school for Sara! Second for Ben, who ... slept through his alarm. Baby steps, I guess.
