It does pain me that I don't have a truck, strong friend, and empty space available right this minute, because the amount of free shit in the greater Boston area is EPIC. Something like 70% of leases turn over in September, and with all the students, a ton of people are leaving the area and their fairly new furniture.

Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
When do you plan on moving?
Not til Thanksgiving -- I had to give three months' notice, and we have to empty and fix up the apartment.
ok, so you are good with 2 beds. ok for now with couch.
how about the bookshelves? you like them or you want to replace? tv stand?
Shelves and tv stand are fine. I think maybe I want a desk, but I don't know what kind.
It's hard to know, because my grandmother had SO MUCH furniture.
OK, so I just watched the official Agents of Shield trailer, and unless I'm mistaken, they explicity said that Coulson wasn't killed in the movie. Unless they're going to go with the clone/LMD route.
desk
huh. I just decided to get rid of my desk because I only use my laptop on my lap while in the recliner.
do you want a new dresser? or end tables?
A storage desk, more than a working desk. Maybe a dresser, maybe some end tables.
I thought about getting rid of my huge heavy old desk, because I'm always working on the laptop in the comfy chair. But it's a 1970s Army-issue solid mahogany desk, one of the first pieces of furniture I bought for myself on my own, and I can't part with it. Perhaps I am too invested in my Things, but...I never said I was a *good* Buddhist.
I am going to bed, but get on pinterest and start inning rooms that you like the look of. it will make you get an idea of color schemes you like and styles of furniture you are drawn to as part of a whole and not just the pieces themselves.
