I can top that. Bottle of wine, bubble bath - no corkscrew.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Woo, fancy bubble bath that requires a corkscrew.
It is actually pretty bad for your teeth.
Yeah, but diet soda + swishing a sip of water around after drinking pretty much neutralizes that.
In a carbonated coincidence, I have just stopped drinking soda this week. And caffeine (since I don't drink coffee, that was how I got my morning jolt). I love it, but it was the only liquid I ever drank and I drank tons every day. I want to be healthier. I can't just cut down, tried that before and I am an all or nothing kinda gal. Farewell, dearest Diet Dr. Pepper, you were a true friend.
Scrappy, you know they make caffeine-free Diet Dr. Pepper, right? [link]

Goose Island Sofie, no bottle opener.
meara, it cracks me up that you have your own spork!
My one true soft drink is Ginger Ale. I love when you go somewhere and they have the juke-box-beverage thing where it has 500 choices and one is always Ginger Ale. Ginger Ale (and bloody mary mix) is like the magic beverage that appears at flying altitude and therefore it will always be special.
I drink about 60 ounces of tea a day, though. For my birthday, I received a hydroflask that keeps beverages super hot or cold for 24 hours and doesn't sweat or overheat on the outside. LOVES IT. So that adds to me tea fix because I can have ice and iced tea all day long.
In other news, lunch is egg salad with hatch chilis. I am so happy.
I'm trying to switch to iced tea, but that always has to be made and I'm very lazy.
My grocery stores both carry very good unsweetened iced tea in bottles of about 35-40 ounces. Spendier than tea bags, but good in a pinch.
Goose Island Sofie, no bottle opener.
My One True Goose Island brew. I will always order that no matter what else is on the menu.

Here's their current list of what's on tap: [link] 100 delicious beers of all stripes.
mmm, beer.
I'm currently stuck in the middle of a discussion going something like this:
Partner: "I want someone to do x"
My boss: "x is not a library thing. Firm policy says so."
Partner: "but X doesn't cost much, and I want someone to do it and if I say it often enough, maybe the library will do it"
It kind of makes me miss yesterday's first question:
James L. (perhaps Lee?) [common last name]
Born in the 1800’s. Trying to see if we can track down social security number. He’s long dead.
