Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

Thanks, Sox - I found that list before and it is not helpful since their cheapest hotel on that list (with availability) is about $700/night. The first one listed for our dates is just over $1800/night.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You might ask Jars if she has any recommendations.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

T-Rex is having problems with his database server: [link]

This should almost go into the tech thread.

Anyone have a London hotel recommendation? We'll have the 4-year old with us, although she has already told us she'd prefer Paris to check on Madeline.

I've recommended Claridge's in Mayfair to friends who were traveling to London (he said, never having been there). It has an excellent reputation and the afternoon tea is quite the event. [link]

Where's msbelle, the bedbug expert? If I left my suitcase in the car (where it will definitely be ht enough to kill everything), and then change into those clothes this afternoon and put my current clothes in the hot car, I should be ok, right? I think my phone and iPad are the only things that can't/won't/shouldn't go through that.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

it needs to hit 120 - 125 for an hour sustained. if any interior part is not getting that hot, they will just retreat to the cool areas.

Because books.

Bedbugs aren't going to be in your phone or iPad, though. You don't really need to worry about them.

The bugs look like an apple seed in size and shape, if that helps.

Punishingly Intricate

I'd second airbnb or vrbo and check out jetsetter. They usually have good deals on nice, big city hotels.

Hmm. I figure it'll hit that in the trunk all day. I'll just make sure I get it hot or my backpack too, after work--maybe stop and have dinner and let it bake a while. ;)
