Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And posting made it better! Cable is back. Thanks, B.org magic.

Congrats, Emmett!

I swam tonight. Definitely hit a wall, but I'm on the mend.

So I took the Which English? test. Their top three guesses for my English dialect were: 1. American (Standard) 2. Singaporean 3. South African

1 is correct, don't know where the other two came from!

Their top three guesses for my native language: 1. Norwegian 2. English 3. Swedish

Now that's surprising. It's English. Why Norwegian?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I work tomorrow and really need to get to bed, but wanted to update on Oz. I think the cat-sitter may have over-dosed him on insulin (my guess is he wasn't eating, but Sylvester was finishing all the food), because after getting him to eat a few treats, then a few more, he is now eating small bowls of regular food. His eyes are clearer and focused and he is up walking around much more like normal. Still he has noticeably lost weight and is wobbly, but much much better than Wednesday.

Glad to hear that, msbelle.

Hubby's first guess on English was Singapore. His native language was guessed to be Vietnamese. That algorithm needs a lot of input. (His first language is probably German, and he's lived on military bases around the world.)

I hope Oz is okay now, msbelle.

I got Singapore also. I'm sure I skewed some metric in that Farsi was one of my first languages.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Someone just slammed his car into the ditch at the corner of my property. Big bang. I stepped out on the porch and heard him talking loudly, presumably on a phone, and he walked away when he couldn't back the car out. Now there are two cop cars out there, trying to find him. I guess that means the license plate isn't registered to the person who was driving it. He must have been drunk or asleep or something to head directly at the row of trees instead of going straight. Or turning, but no one lives in the direction of the turn except my neighbor. I'm pretty sure he's okay, since he walked away, and I'm glad he wasn't badly hurt, but I'm also glad he wasn't going fast enough to jump the embankment and damage my trees. I wonder if I'll ever find out how this resolves.

How strange Zen.

Breakthrough pain bites. Woke me up a few times tonight and I've now given up on sleep. The bit of reading I've been doing about TN is scaring the crap out of me. Medications being minimally effective, ER visits to rival ita's experiences, and life long pain.

Bless. So to distract myself I'm watching Breaking Bad (never seen it before). Light early morning entertainment.
